PTFE mesh screens are coated with Teflon, the slipperiest substance known. Provides a non-stick surface which is easy to use and easy to clean!
Food safe, FDA compliant, and reusable hundreds of times with proper care. Safe for temperatures up to 550 degrees Farenheit, indirect heat only.
Unlike polypropylene which gets brittle, breaks, and presents a concern of food contamination, PTFE screens remain supple use after use.
Not sharp like polypro, it is much easler to handle. No need to use a release agent when cleaning and needs less pressure if pressure washing resulting in material, water, and labor savings!
To maximize the life of this mesh, clean after use. Non-abrasive, non-metal cooking utensils only.
